Without chasing the target, Pakistan chased down the target with one wicket. With the help of captain Babar Azam’s century, Pakistan won the second T20 match and leveled the series at 1 1. Rizwan (Mohammed Rizwan) played an unbeaten innings of 88 runs.

This is how Pakistan captain Babar Azam finally gave his fans a chance to rejoice. After a flop show in the Asia Cup, the star batsman, who was criticized for lack of runs and slow batting, silenced both the critics in one of his innings. Babar Azam ended his month-long drought in the second T20I against England with a scintillating 62-ball century. He along with Babar Mohammad Rizwan led Pakistan to a memorable 10-wicket victory in the second T20I.

  1. Babar Azam scored the second century of his T20 career. Babar completed this century in just 62 balls. He remained unbeaten on 110 off 66 balls, which included 11 fours and 5 sixes.
  2. With this Babar has become the first Pakistani batsman to score two centuries in T20 Internationals. Babar scored his first century against South Africa.
  3. Not only this, Babar also ended the drought of runs going on for the last one month. Babar, who did not touch the 50 mark even once in seven consecutive innings, ended the wait with a brilliant century.
  4. Babar Azam also scored his 10th century as a captain. He became the Pakistani batsman with the most centuries as a captain.

  7. This was the fifth partnership of over 150 between Rizwan and Babar. There is no one even around this pair. Indian legends Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have made such partnership twice.
  8. With this, Pakistan became the first team in the history of T20 cricket to achieve the target of 200 runs or more without losing a single wicket.
  9. Pakistan won the match for the second time in T20 cricket by 10 wickets. Earlier last year they had defeated India in the World Cup and in that match too Babar and Rizwan were the only openers.
