The International Cricket Council ie ICC has selected the ODI team of the year 2022 and the names of India’s star cricketers Kohli, Pandya or Rohit are not included in this list.

ICC picked the ODI team of the year for 2022 and India’s star cricketer-captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not included in ICC’s team of 11, International Cricket Council’s captaincy has been handed over to Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam. Only two Indian cricketers have got a place in this ICC team, these players are middle order bowler Shreyas Iyer and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. New Zealand’s Tom Latham, who is captaining in the Indian series, has been selected as the wicketkeeper in this team.

It’s been a good year for Shreyas Iyer at 22:
The year 2022 has been very important for Shreyas Iyer. He scored the most runs in ODIs for the Indian team. Scored a total of 724 runs in 17 matches, but the beginning of 2023 was nothing special for him. Shreyas has performed very poorly in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, scoring 28, 28 and 38 runs in 3 matches, while in 22 matches he has scored 2 Tests. Scored 50 runs in matches. Shreyas has been ruled out of the ongoing ODI series against New Zealand due to a back ailment.
