The Moto Grand Prix World Championship race will be held for the first time next year at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. It has been named ‘India Grand Prix’. The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) along with its commercial partner Dorna Sports made the announcement at an event in New Delhi on Wednesday (21 September). An MoU has been signed with the help of FIM, Dorna Sports and Fairstreet Sports from Noida to host the India Grand Prix for the next 7 years.

The Formula One Indian Grand Prix was held here from 2011 to 2013. But the competition was later canceled due to financial difficulties. But now there is going to be a MotoGP competition here.
