Kolkata’s Pat Cummins out of IPL due to injury

Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Pat Cummins has been ruled out of the rest of the IPL. He has returned to Australia to recover from Thapa’s injury. Australian Test captain Cummins has returned to Sydney to regain full fitness ahead of the national team’s tour of Sri Lanka next month.

 


It will take 15 days to fit completely

In this year’s auction, Cummins was bought by the Kolkata team for Rs 7.25 crore. The report said it could take about 15 days for Cummins to become fully fit. Apart from leading the Test team, he is also a key player in Australia’s ODI and T20 teams. Cummins has played just five matches in the current IPL season and has taken six wickets and scored 66 runs. His unbeaten 56 off 14 balls was his best performance against Mumbai Indians.

 

Earth Show’s chances of losing the remaining matches
