India vs Australia, 2nd T20i Match: Australia set a target of 91 runs against India, Axar Patel took 2 wickets
India and Australia The second match of the T20 series between (India vs Australia) started much later than the scheduled time due to rain. i.e. it started at 9.30 instead of 7. The match was decided to be played as 8-8 overs instead of the scheduled 20-20 overs. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to field first. Thus Australia batted first after losing the toss and scored 90 runs after losing the toss with the help of the stormy batting of Matthew Wade.
The field was very wet due to rain. It took a long time to dry the field. In this way, instead of toss at 6.30 pm, the toss could be done at 9.15 pm. Thus, after the weather was very bad, the umpires inspected the field from time to time and finally reported that the game was fit at 8.45 and play became possible. India got success in the form of the first wicket of Cameron Green. Cameron hits the third ball over mid on, but Virat Kohli fields the ball and throws it straight on the green. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 5 runs.
Akshar Amazing ball, two players blew the stumps
Glenn Maxwell was clean bowled by Axar Patel on the last ball of the second over. He misses Axar’s huge ball in the middle of the bridge and the ball goes straight over the stumps. Maxwell golden duck was bowled. Axar again brought the fourth over of the innings and took the wicket of Tim David on the very first ball. Axar bowls clean and removes the middle stump. He scored just 2 runs. Steve Smith was run out on the last ball of the innings. He returned after scoring 8 runs in 5 balls.
