India vs Australia 2nd T20 Playing 11: India won the toss, Australia will bat, Jasprit Bumrah returns

India and Australia (India vs Australia) A 3-match T20 series is being played, the second match is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The toss has gone ahead of its scheduled time. It happened at 9.15 pm instead of 6.30 pm. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to field first. In such a situation, Australia will bat after losing the toss. Due to the late start of the match due to disruption in rain conditions, the scheduled overs of the match have been reduced. This match is to be played in 8-8 overs. A change has been made in the Indian cricket team, with the return of Jasprit Bumrah in the playing XI.

After the over was reduced, the role of the toss was important and Rohit Sharma was looking very happy after winning the toss. He won the toss and decided to field first. Thus the scheme of running the chase in an 8-over match was implemented.

Talking about the playing XI, as expected, star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has returned to the Indian team for this match. He has been included in place of Umesh Yadav. Bumrah has not played a match since the tour of England in July. He also missed the Asia Cup due to injury, while he was not fielded in the Mohali T20 against Australia to regain match fitness.

Changes in both teams

Since the match is of only 8 overs, Team India has decided to go with 4 bowlers instead of 5 leading bowlers and hence Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been dropped apart from Umesh Yadav. Rishabh Pant has been included in the playing XI in place of Bhuvi. Australia have replaced Nathan Ellis and Josh Inglis in place of Shaun Abbott and Daniel Sams.

In the first match played in Mohali, Team India showed their strength with the bat, but the bowlers disappointed. Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul scored half-centuries for Team India and India scored 208 runs. Despite such a big score, the Indian bowlers failed to defend and Australia won the match by 4 wickets on the basis of Cameron Green’s half-century and Matthew Wade’s explosive innings.
