Suryakumar Yadav played a stormy innings of 76 runs for Team India in the match against West Indies. Questions were being raised about the decision to send the salute to Surya, but he stopped everything. He hit 8 fours, 4 sixes in his innings and kept a good eye on the West Indies bowlers.
Captain Rohit Sharma, who initially returned to the pavilion after his retirement hurt, is being looked after by the BCCI medical team. Apart from Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant also played an unbeaten innings of 33 runs in 26 balls. Apart from him, Shreyas Iyer scored 24 and Hardik Pandya scored 4.
