Pat Cummins was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs 7.25 crore. The report said that it could take up to 15 days for Cummins to be fully fit. Apart from leading the Test team, Cummins is also a key member of the ODI and T20 teams.
Only five matches have been played in IPL this season.
Meanwhile, KKR’s team management is yet to confirm whether Cummins will be able to play in the upcoming matches. Cummins has played just five matches in the IPL this season, scoring 63 runs and taking seven wickets. This includes an unbeaten 56 off 14 balls against Mumbai Indians. KKR have just 10 points from 12 matches and are on the verge of being dropped. Their next match will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday.
