Gaurav: This daughter of Gujarat will represent India in kickboxing at international level
Manisha Vala, daughter of Gujarat will represent India in kick boxing at international level. Manisha, originally from Kodinar in Gir-Somnath district, is going to participate in the 7th International Turkish Open Kick Boxing World Cup.
For this Manisha left for Istanbul, Turkey from Delhi today. The special thing is that 48 countries from all over the world are participating in this tournament. 9 players from India are participating in this tournament. In kick boxing, the only daughter of Gujarat, Manisha Vala will represent India.
Manisha will compete in the 60-weight category in point fight form at the tournament to be held in Istanbul, Turkey from May 12 to 15. Kickboxing is a group of kick and punching based standup combat sports.
Commenting on the tournament, Manisha said that representing the country is the dream of any player. my dream comes true. I have got a chance to play at international level. I will definitely try to illuminate the name of India.
Manisha further said that my father Jagdishbhai and mother have helped me a lot in progressing in the game even in the midst of financial crisis. Also my coach Siddharth Bhalegre has been instrumental in shaping me as a player.
