A stampede broke out while buying tickets for the third T20 match in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad, 22 September (H.S.). A huge crowd of cricket fans gathered at the Gymkhana ground to buy tickets for the third T20 match between India and Australia to be held in Hyderabad. A stampede broke out in the race to buy tickets, in which 4 people were injured.
The third T20 match between India and Australia will be played on 25 September at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. A huge crowd gathered at the Gymkhana ground to buy tickets for this match. There was a long queue of fans to collect tickets, but the situation soon spiraled out of control and a stampede broke out. Fans turned out in large numbers and there was a law and order problem. The police had to lathi-charge to manage the huge crowd and restore control.
Talking about the three T20 match series between India and Australia, the Australian team defeated India by 4 wickets in the first T20 match played in Mohali to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The second T20 match between the two teams will be played in Nagpur tomorrow (Friday).
