Sagar, 27 May (H.S). State and Central Governments are working at all levels to promote sports talents. Madhya Pradesh has improved the state’s ranking in the field of sports at the national level by hosting the “Khelo India” competition. State Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said this while inaugurating the Olympia Sports Academy at City Stadium on Saturday.
Bhupendrasinh said that this sports academy will bring great opportunities for sportsmen of the city in the development of sports facilities in Sagar. The aim of this academy is to promote sports activities in Sagar and promote the sports talents of Sagar at the national level. The sports academy will provide sports training by government approved, district level, state level and national level coaches.
Minister Singh said on the occasion that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have also paved the way for the rapid development of Sagar by giving him the opportunity to work as a minister. He said that you all are seeing that no matter how much demand is being made from the department for the development of the ocean, but lack of funds does not stand in the way. Smart City facility has been made available by the Municipal Corporation as requested.
