Vastushashtra: Brahmasthan is important for home, know what is the place in Vastu Shastra
The central part of the plot is called Brahmasthan. Just as the stomach controls the whole body, so the whole house gets pure air, clean light and energy from Brahmasthan. The flow of energy in the whole house comes from Brahmasthan only.
Vastu is the art of man’s interaction with nature, based on the ten directions and the five elements. When a direction or element goes wrong, the architecture starts having a negative effect, causing many problems to the people living there.
What is Brahmasthan?
The central part of the plot is called Brahmasthan. Due to Pumakriti, the stomach, intestines, cavities of Vastu Purush and the joints of the thighs are part of the Brahmasthan. Or rather, Brahmasthan is the place in and around the navel of Vastu Purush in Vastu Shastra. Just as the stomach controls the whole body, so the whole house gets pure air, clean light and energy from Brahmasthan. The flow of energy in the whole house comes from Brahmasthan only. In the Brihat Samhita, special emphasis has been laid on keeping the Brahmasthan extremely safe for the householders seeking prosperity. If the Brahmasthan is harmed due to any reason, then the existence of that person is in danger. Brahma is the creator and man cannot achieve anything by insulting him.
The Brahmasthan has open courtyards of old style houses, havelis and palaces. Khula Brahmasthan is able to reduce the ill effects of other Vastu defects in the house. Today’s style houses do not have open courtyards. In such a situation, keep the place in the house towards the north or east in such a way that sunlight and wind can enter the house as much as possible.
Construct the house in such a way that Brahmasthala is faultless for happiness, prosperity and healthy life. This place is associated with spirituality and philosophy. Regular recitation of Bhajan, Kirtan, Ramayana or Gita at this place removes the problems caused due to faulty Brahmasthan. If possible, plant a Tulsi plant at this place.
what not to do
There should not be any pit, water, dirt in this place. Therefore, like the Northeast, this place should always be kept clean and light. This place should be slightly elevated (yard) in the middle of the house, if water is poured on the Brahmasthan, it spreads everywhere. Do not sit in the pit or in the middle of the house, otherwise the homeowner may face financial difficulties.
Do not keep heavy furniture here, keep this space as empty as possible. Stairs, beams, pillars, underground water tanks, borings, septic tanks, toilets should not be built in Brahmasthan. Do not keep broom, mop etc. at this place. Never do fire related work in Brahmasthan, by doing so the family members will be alienated. Shoes etc. should not be kept in Brahmasthan.
