This year, the fast of Karva Chauth will be celebrated on Thursday, October 13, 2022. The Chaturthi of Kartik month will start from 01.59 am on 13 October 2022. Chaturthi Tithi will end on October 14, 2022 at 03.08 am.

When can the moon be visible on Karva Chauth 2022?

The timing of Karva Chauth Puja is 13 October 2022 from 06.01 PM to 07.15 PM. Married women will get 1 hour 14 minutes for worship. According to the scriptures, on the day of Karva Chauth, the Moon will remain in Taurus. This time moonrise time will be 08.19 minutes.

Ingredients Required for Karva Chauth Puja:

Karva Chauth is an important day for every married couple. On this day, include paan, fast story book, challan, kalash, sandalwood in the plate of worship. Apart from this, use ingredients like flowers, turmeric, rice, sweets, raw milk, curd, desi ghee, honey, sugar powder, kunku, akshat, lamp, incense sticks, camphor, wheat, vata (cotton), kheer. Also, on this day, women wear red saris with bangles, vermilion and red-headed dupatta.
