On Sunday morning, the body of Milanpalli resident Amit Mandal was recovered from the house. It is being told that the dead bodies of his wife, seven year old son and one and a half year old daughter were lying on the floor of the house. On getting the information, the police of Durgapur police station reached the spot. Till then a crowd of curious people started gathering outside the house. Sent message on WhatsApp, then found dead body in the morning

The bodies of Amit Mandal (36), his wife Roopa Mandal (27) and two children Nimit Mandal (7) and Nishita Mandal (1) have been found. Meanwhile, Amit Mandal’s WhatsApp message which read, “We quit! 4 of us are leaving this world. 2 people are responsible behind our death. My mother and rain. Even today I could not understand why mother, Varsha and Krishna are so jealous of us. We haven’t done you any harm, I have done everything for you since your father’s death. Now you will understand what happens to you without us! Now you rest in peace with your brothers and sisters, we are leaving, we don’t need you.”

Murder by suicide and conspiracy, police started investigation

Local resident Tapan Pal said, “The young man used to have frequent quarrels with his mother over property. Looking at the condition in which the dead body was found, it seems that it is not a suicide in any way, it is a murder. First killed and then hanged. Another resident, Debasish Banerjee said, “Though there was a rope around his neck, his feet were on the ground. His hands were tied. He was lying in the same condition. We do not understand of what conspiracy he has been made a victim. We want a fair investigation by the police. If needed, let the CBI investigate. Those who have committed such a heinous crime should be punished. The police has started investigating the entire matter.
