The birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated across the country on Monday. This day is also celebrated as Parakram Divas. Various programs were organized in East Bengal on this occasion. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) also organized a grand program named ‘Netaji Ko Pranam’ at the Shaheed Minar ground in Kolkata, in which Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat was also present. Addressing the program, he said that Netaji dedicated his whole life for the country. He spent most of his life in exile. He sacrificed his everything for the country. Today the eyes of the whole world are fixed on India. Netaji’s dream of making India great is still incomplete, which we have to make come true together. We can spread peace and brotherhood in the world by following the path shown by Netaji and our forefathers. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s nephew Ardhendu Bose was also present in the program.

More than 15 thousand volunteers of Sangh participated in the program.

Sangh’s South Bengal Prant Prachar President Biplab Roy said that more than 15,000 volunteers from Kolkata and Howrah participated in the program and performed Sanchalan, Udhosh, Kadamtaal, Niyudh and Danda Prahar.
