SIA raids several places in Kashmir
Today the day has started with raids in Jammu and Kashmir. The State Investigation Agency is conducting raids at many places in many parts of Central and South Kashmir on Saturday morning. The local police and CRPF team conducted this raid at many places. Information has been received that these raids are being conducted in Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Srinagar districts. An official said that the SIA is conducting searches only in cases already registered in Kashmir. The details of the raid will be shared later.

Pakistan: Imran Khan’s appearance today
The police have not yet been successful in arresting former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. Lahore High Court yesterday on Friday gave protective relief to former PM Imran Khan in 9 cases. The Islamabad High Court restrained the police from arresting Imran as he has to appear in the lower court. Imran has to appear in the court on Saturday in the Toshakhana case in the capital Islamabad. (agency)

Lt Col Reddy’s last rites today
The last rites of Lieutenant Colonel VVB Reddy, who lost his life in the Cheetah helicopter accident in Arunachal Pradesh, may be performed today. His mortal remains were taken to Reddy’s residence in Malkajgiri from Hyderabad last night. Earlier on Thursday, a Cheetah helicopter fell victim to an accident near Mandla in Arunachal’s West Kameng district. In the accident, Lieutenant Colonel Reddy and co-pilot Major Jayanath A. had died. (Language)
