Bengaluru: Eight years ago, a sister first killed her brother, then cut the dead body into pieces and threw it at different places after filling it in a bag. The police was engaged in the investigation of this matter and the criminal sister was dodging the police. Now the police have solved that murder mystery by arresting the culprit sister and her live-in partner. The case is of Jigani in South Bengaluru, where sensation spread in the area 8 years ago after the body parts were found.

The culprit sister has been identified as Bhagyashree, while her lover’s son is being told. According to the police, Bhagyashree had killed her brother Lingaraju Siddappa, stuffed his body parts in a bag and threw them at three different places including the lake. This murder came to light when the eyes of the local people fell on the piece of the dead body. Later the police started investigating the case, but the head of the dead body could not be recovered.

Police said that both Bhagyashree and Shivputra were friends since college days in Vijayapura, but they shifted to Bangalore in 2015 due to family problems. He lived in a rented house near Jigani, and used to work in the Jigani industrial area there. Later, when his brother Lingaraju Jigani went to his flat, he was surprised to see his sister’s affair and opposed their love affair. According to the police, there was a fight between the two brothers and sisters. Shivputra also jumped in the fight and then Bhagyashree along with him killed her own brother.

Both the lovers were living in Maharashtra hiding their identity

To hide the dead body, both the lovers cut the dead body into pieces and filled it in different bags. A bag with the hand of the body was recovered near a meat shop in the area. At the same time, the other piece of the dead body was thrown into the nearby lake and the head of the dead body could not be found. Now the Karnataka Police told that, on the basis of information, both (lovers) have been arrested in Nashik, Maharashtra. For years both were living here hiding their identity. The police have arrested both of them and taken them to Bengaluru, where further action will be taken.
