DT. 26 January is the Republic Day of India. The grand republic parade held in Delhi is a symbol of India’s pride and glory. Each contingent walks 12 km in rehearsal for the 26 January parade and 9 km on the day of the parade. Each parade is routed by a judge who scrutinizes all troupes against 200 criteria, based on which the best marching contingent is awarded.
