Railway cuts so many tickets in a minute:

Railway has continuously updated the “Next Generation E-Ticketing System (NGET)” over time. Railways has released the data regarding ticket booking, according to which 15,000 tickets were booked per minute in 2016-17.

At the same time, 18,000 tickets were booked per minute in 2017-18 and 20,000 tickets were booked per minute in 2018-19. Currently, the IRCTC website has a capacity to book 25,000 tickets per minute. By the way, let us tell you that on March 5, 2020, a record 26,458 tickets were booked in one minute. This gives an idea of ​​how much trust the passengers have in the railways. It is a comfortable and safe mode of travel.
