Today the whole country of India is celebrating 74th Republic Day. Today, for the first time, a parade is being held on the duty route on the occasion of this Republic Day. Earlier this road was known as Rajpath. A glimpse of ‘New India’ will be seen in this parade. The parade will showcase indigenous military strength and women’s strength as well as cultural diversity in the tableaux of the states. Along with this, 50 aircraft of the Air Force will also show their might. President Draupadi Murmu is leading the country on the path of duty. This time, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is present as the chief guest on Republic Day.

PM Modi tweeted best wishes PM Modi wrote that Happy Republic Day. This time the occasion is also special because we are celebrating it during the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. We want to move forward unitedly to fulfill the dreams of the great freedom fighters of the country.

Duty path will have 23 tables

17 banners of States and Union Territories and 6 banners of various Ministries and Departments will also be seen on the duty route depicting the country’s rich cultural heritage, economic progress and strong internal and external security.
