Mumbai: The central government has decided to use mobile inspection vans for quality inspection of highways in the country. Initially, the work will be started on a pilot basis in four states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha and Karnataka and later it will be implemented across the country. The Union Ministry of Road Transport has issued a notification in this regard.

 

 

The Union Ministry of Roads has taken this decision to build a network of world class quality highways in our country. Road quality will be maintained in quality and quality control of highways with the use of mobile inspection vans. Also, if there is any problem or problem related to the quality of these roads, then it will be easy to work on them.

In the next three months, every 2000 km of highways will be checked in these four states. In this, the projects of the Central Government and the State Government will be examined. The state of Gujarat has today signed an agreement in this regard. Such agreements will also be taken from the states of Rajasthan, Odisha and Karnataka. After these four states, this project will be started in other states of the country as well.
