Amritpal Singh Arrest Operation: Punjab Police’s operation against Waris Punjab chief Amritpal Singh is going on. He has been declared a fugitive. The police administration has been put on alert mode in entire Punjab. Now the Punjab Police and central agencies have appealed to the people not to believe the false information being sent on social media from Pakistan. Pakistan based Khalistani are trying to mislead the people of Punjab through such posts with fake IDs. The Punjab government has again clarified that neither Amritpal has been arrested yet and the situation is normal in Punjab.

Security has also been increased in big gurudwaras of Punjab.

Security forces have also been deployed outside Amritpal Singh’s house in Jallupur Kheda village of Amritsar. Entry into the village is being given only after checking every vehicle. Along with this, the security of the major Gurudwaras of Punjab has also been increased and the police is trying to trace the people who gave shelter to Amritpal Singh. On behalf of the police, an appeal has been made to the people of Punjab to maintain peace and harmony and not to panic. Apart from this, an appeal has also been made not to pay attention to fake news. The Punjab Police also detained Daljit Kalsi, believed to be Amritpal Singh’s guide, from Gurugram in a one-day operation. Police is now starting the process of taking Amritpal Singh’s family members into custody under NSA. So far 78 people have been arrested.
