Ingredients of Beet Pudding

 

2 cups grated beetroot

2 tsp ghee

2 cups milk

1 1/2 tsp sugar

to decorate

almonds as required

Beet pudding

1 Add grated beetroot in a pan

To prepare this delicious halwa, the ingredients you need are quite simple: grated beetroot, ghee, milk and sugar. Firstly, place a non-stick kadhai on medium flame and add grated beetroot in it.

 

Pour milk in 2 pans and let it cook

After this, add milk to it until the beetroot is completely soaked and let the beetroot cook on low flame till the milk reduces. Keep stirring occasionally, till the milk gets completely absorbed in the beetroot.

 

3 Add sugar and ghee, and mix well with beetroot for 5 minutes

After this, add sugar and ghee to the pan and mix it well. Let it cook for another 5 minutes. Switch off the flame and garnish with chopped almonds.
