Delhi Mumbai Expressway: Delhi to Jaipur in just four hours, very beautiful pictures from drone
Nitin Gadkari shared pictures of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Sharing pictures of a part of Vadodara-Virar, he said that we are building a prosperous India.
This expressway is about 1386 km long and after the completion of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway project, the travel time between the two cities will come down to just 12 hours. The construction of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, one of the largest expressways in the world, began in 2018.
Earlier on Monday (January 23), Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated highway projects worth Rs 6,800 crore in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh. The total length of these 28 National Highway projects is 550 km.
Nitin Gadkari said that the construction of Powai, Orchha, Harpalpur, Kaithi Padariya Kala, Patna Tamauli, Jasso, Nagore and Sagar Link Road bypasses will reduce the traffic pressure in the city.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a statement that the construction of the Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor would facilitate the movement of cement and minerals and reduce logistics costs.
The minister said that with the construction of this corridor, Bhopal’s connectivity with Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi will improve. Traffic will be safe with the construction of a 2-lane road from Tikamgarh to Orchha with metalled shoulders.
Gadkari also announced construction of 105 km long four-laning new road from Bamitha to Satna at a cost of Rs 2000 crore. With the construction of this road, tourism will get a boost in Tikamgarh, Panna, Chhatarpur, Khajuraho and Bandhavgarh National Parks.
