According to the revised guidelines, maintenance of physical distance, use of indoor masks, hand hygiene, monitoring of symptomatic management (hydration, anti-pyretics, anti-travasive), monitoring of oxygen besides keeping in touch with doctors has been asked for.

Apart from this, what has been said in the guideline is that if someone has difficulty in breathing, high fever or excessive cough… If all these things continue for more than five days, then immediately contact the doctor. At the same time, the Ministry of Health has prohibited the use of antibiotics in its guidelines. The revised guidelines state, antibiotics should not be used unless a bacterial infection is ruled out.
What to do for high risk patients
Apart from this, in the guideline, high-risk patients have been asked to take Remdesivir, that too for five days. It has been asked to take 200 mg IV on the first day followed by 100 mg IV for the next 4 days. Let us tell you that the increasing cases of corona in India have increased the concern of the government. Last Thursday, the Union Health Ministry wrote a letter to six states Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. In the letter, these states were advised to emphasize on test, track, treat and vaccination.
