New Naxal Policy in Chhattisgarh: In this new policy of the Baghel government, the victims of Naxalite violence are empowered to claim compensation in cases of murder, injury, loss of property and livelihood. Along with this, the victims of other states have also been made eligible for compensation in this new scheme.

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has approved a new Naxal policy to eliminate Maoist violence from the state. Baghel Sarkar Has made a new five year action plan named ‘Triveni’ based on development, trust and security. The main objective of this scheme is to make better coordination between the government department on the issue of effective Naxal eradication.
Along with this, the state government has announced an additional relief amount of Rs 20 lakh for the families of the police force who lost their lives in the violence with Naxals. Along with this, approval has also been given to buy stamp duty free agricultural land up to 2 acres.

District level committee formed
This policy proposed by the Baghel government provides rehabilitation facilities to Naxal affected families. The government will also give some benefits to the Naxalites who surrender. A district level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the collector to take a decision on rehabilitation. During this, the rehabilitation committee constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Home, will take care of various types of rehabilitation work related to the implementation of welfare schemes.
Amendment in Naxalite surrender policy also approved
In this new policy of the state government, the victims of Naxalite violence are empowered to claim compensation in cases of murder, injury, loss of property and livelihood. Along with this, the victims of other states have also been made eligible for compensation in this new scheme. The government has also approved amendment in Naxalite surrender policy. In case of surrender, Rs.50 per round will be paid instead of Rs.5 per round. This new Naxalite scheme of CM Bhupesh Baghel is being appreciated a lot.
