Government’s gift to central employees, now everyone will get 38% dearness allowance
A wonderful gift has been given by the government to the central employees. The government has released dearness allowance for them. Now these employees will be given more DA. Let us tell you that the government has increased the dearness allowance by 4 percent this year. The Consumer Price Index of India (AICPI) has decided to increase the dearness allowance this year after looking at the data released on industrial workers. The index had gained 0.2 points in June.
The government will pay the dearness allowance next month. The decision to increase DA was taken after looking at the first half data of AICPI-IW (All India Consumer Price Index – Industrial Workers). The index has risen 0.2 points to 129.2.
This index is used by the government to decide the dearness allowance of the employees. The index has risen to 4 percent. Experts are also optimistic about a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance regarding this. It is going to benefit more than one crore employees and pensioners.
DA has increased to 38 percent:
Due to the increase of 4 percent in the dearness allowance by the government, now the total dearness allowance has increased to 38 percent. The government will pay it in the salary of September 2022. In this the dues of both the months of July and August will also be included. This new dearness allowance will be effective from July 1, 2022.
In the current situation, the 7th Pay Commission has fixed the minimum basic pay as 18,000. At the same time, at the level of Cabinet Secretary, the salary becomes 56,900. Adding 38% dearness allowance to 18,000 salary, the total increase in annual DA becomes Rs 6,840. At the same time, the increase in DA is Rs 27,312 against 56,900.
