Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken important steps to effectively curb road accidents. For this, he flagged off 25 hi-tech interceptor vehicles from the CM residence.

 

He tweeted that the interceptors equipped with digital technology are capable of measuring speed and reading vehicle number plates even at night. These vehicles will prove to be effective in curbing road accidents while playing an important role in road safety.

 

Interceptors have been provided to the Rajasthan Police by the state government from the Road Safety Fund at a cost of about Rs 5 crore.

The government is committed to prevent road accidents. Police and related departments are being given financial approval for state-of-the-art resources and awareness campaign.

 

Every year thousands of people lose their lives in road accidents in the country. A mountain of sorrow breaks down on the families of those who die in road accidents, their children become orphans. In such a situation, considering every person’s life as precious, preventing road accidents is the main priority of the state government.
