New Delhi June 21 will be celebrated as International Yoga Day across the world. In India, yoga is now a part of the daily routine of political leaders. 1. Narendra Modi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of those PMs of India who has always promoted and supported fitness. Even at the age of 71, PM Modi practices yoga regularly every day. This has been disclosed by PM Modi himself. Every year on International Yoga Day, PM Modi urges people to include yoga in their daily routine.
2. Ramnath Kovind:
Even at the age of 76, President Ram Nath Kovind practices yoga daily. An official of Rashtrapati Bhavan told that the President does yoga every day. On Yoga Day 2020, President Ram Nath Kovinde, while sharing a photo, wrote that doing yoga in the midst of coro epidemic gives health to the body and peace of mind.
3. Venkaiah Naidu:
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, 72, also practices yoga daily. Last year on Yoga Day, Venkaiah Naidu shared a photo with his wife doing yoga. The vice president also has a badminton team. This includes his employees.
4. Rajnath Singh:
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, 70, prefers to do yoga and exercise every day at home. The Defense Minister runs for 20 minutes twice a day. In the morning he does yoga. This is the reason why he is fit even at this age.
