The Defense Minister of the country said that the Agneepath project will revolutionize the defense sector. Some people are spreading false things against Agneepath. Firefighters will get new employment opportunities. Rajnath Singh said that if you take admission after high school you will get Inter certificate, whereas if you get admission after Inter, you will get Diploma certificate. According to him, several state governments have agreed to employ firefighters.
He said the public sector has promised employment to firefighters. The Defense Minister further said that the government will also give cheap loans to firefighters. He said that the questions being raised about the future of firefighters are baseless. The military quality of the training of firefighters will not be compromised. We are also ready for the new challenges of war. He said that Agniveer would become steel after training like the army.
10% reservation for Agniveer in CAPF-Assam Rifles
The Union Home Ministry on Saturday announced 10 per cent vacancies for Agniveer in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assam Rifles. This information has been given by the Home Minister’s Office. The Ministry of Home Affairs tweeted, ‘The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to reserve 10 percent vacancies for Agniveer for recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles.
Relaxation in upper age limit for firefighters
Ministry of Home Affairs also announced relaxation in upper age limit for firefighters for recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles. “Ministry of Home Affairs has also decided to relax the upper age limit by three years for Agniveer for recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles,” the Home Ministry’s office said in another tweet. Apart from this, the first batch of ‘Agniveer’ will be given a relaxation of five years in the prescribed upper age limit.
