New Delhi : A new and big initiative can be taken soon regarding Vedic education in the country. The Union Education Ministry is going to give recognition to the Veda based education board. This board of Veda based education will function like any other general education board. Experts of Sanskrit, language and mathematics will also be involved in this process.

In fact, the Union Ministry of Education is in favor of providing Vedic education and Veda based knowledge to the students. However, till now there is no system of degree for Vedic Vidya. In view of this, the Government of India is going to take a decision to link the Veda system with the modern education system. For this the process of making a board has started. Under the National Policy on Education, a special Vedic Education Board will come into existence to maintain the relevance of the text of Vedas in modern society.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan says that a special Vedic Education Board will come into existence to maintain the relevance of the recitation of Vedas in modern society. The Union Ministry of Education believes that Vedas are the basis of our culture. Our Vedic tradition is timeless.

Giving official information in this regard, the Ministry of Education said that in order to make the Vedas a subject of public practice with scholarship, the Government of India, under the leadership of Maharishi Sandipani Pratishthan, built five Veda Vidyapeeths at the four dhams of our folk faith and the place of mother Kamakhya. has decided.

Shankar Lal Chaturvedi, an educationist associated with Veda Vidya, says on this subject that Veda education can be very important in carrying forward the Indian knowledge tradition under the National Education Policy. Veda education is not the subject of any religious worship system, but it contains the knowledge and science to lead a better life. According to Chaturvedi, this knowledge of Vedas can prove beneficial for all sections and sects of the society. Vedic Mathematics is a living example of this. According to Chaturvedi, almost all the students of the society are getting the benefits of Vedic Mathematics.

At the same time, few reputed institutes are providing Veda Vidya to the students. Maharishi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya Pratishthan is imparting education to more than 6,000 students across the country to maintain the relevance of recitation of Vedas in modern society and to preserve and promote Vedas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has also discussed Vedic mathematics recently during the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. It is worth mentioning that during the Mann Ki Baat program, Prime Minister Modi said that for the people of India, who make the world aware of the most important sources of mathematics, mathematics should not be a problem but an easy subject. If we teach Vedic maths to our children, then their fear about maths will also end.

The Ministry of Education wants India’s contribution to mathematics through Vedic mathematics, guiding the youth from India’s rich mathematical traditions nurtured by mathematicians like Acharya Pingla, Acharya Aryabhatta, Ramanujan and former Shankaracharya Jagadguru Swami Bharatikrishna Teerth Maharaj of Puri.

During his Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister said that with Vedic Maths, you can solve even big scientific problems. I would like all parents to teach Vedic maths to their children. Hemnagar Koti, a famous educationist of Sanskrit Vedic education, completely agrees with the statement of the Prime Minister. He says that by learning Vedic Maths, the confidence of the students will not only increase, but the analytical power of their brain will also increase. With this, whatever fear is there in the minds of the children about mathematics, it will also end.
