Vadodara : Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach Vadodara at 10 pm tonight. After staying overnight at the Circuit House in Vadodara, Kevadia will leave for a special meeting of the Central Disaster Management on June 25. Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Kevadiya to attend two divisional meetings. After reaching Ahmedabad on the night of 26th, the Home Minister will spend the night at his residence. This visit of Home Minister Amit Shah is considered important before the Gujarat Assembly elections. Rainfall was recorded in 105 talukas of the state yesterday. The highest rainfall was recorded in Saurashtra. Manavdar in Junagadh and Khamba in Amli received 3-3 inches of rain yesterday. Apart from this, Gir Gadha, Savarkundla and Ranao received about two inches of rain.

Whereas Quant, Kutiana, Porbandar, Bodeli, Nakhtarana, Walia, Mahuva, Kaprada, Wadia, Khambhat taluks of Chhotaudepur received one to one and a half inches of rain. So Sanjeli, Dhrol, Kodinar, Balasinor, Dharampur, Meghraj, Upleta, Chhotaudpur, Byad, Mangrol, Vansda, Jambughoda, Vadgam, Modasa, Fetpura received more than half an inch of rain. Apart from this, areas including Talaja, Veraval, Bagsara, Mundra, Pardi, Lilia, Bhesan, Jetpur, Mandvi, Dang, Lalpur, Sutrapada, Dasar, Amreli, Palitana, Anjar, Dabhoi, Visnagar and Talod also received rain.

It has started raining in Saurashtra since yesterday morning. In Saurashtra, rain has entered Amreli, Bhavnagar and Rajkot districts. Apart from this, rain has started in Mahisagar and Aravalli districts since morning. Savarkundla and Khamba talukas of Amreli district received two inches of rain in just two hours. Two to two inches of rain fell between six and eight in the evening. Apart from this, Mahuva of Bhavnagar and Khambhat of Anand received 1-1 inch of rain from 6 to 8 am. While Bagsara, Wadia, Talja, Gir Gadha received half to one inch of rain. Apart from this, isolated rains occurred in Kodinar, Thangarh, Dasar, Palitana, Rajkot, Jasdan, Chotila, Anklav, Gondal, Morwa Hadaf, Jessore, Amreli, Jalalpur and Kalol taluks.
