Uddhav Thackeray may resign after meeting Sharad Pawar
Uddhav Thackeray may resign from the post of Chief Minister amid the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra. There is talk of Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation soon after the cabinet meeting. Before resigning, Uddhav Thackeray will also talk to all the MPs and MLAs of his Shiv Sena party.
Amidst the political crisis in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray will first meet the rest of his MLAs and MPs and explain their position, then hold a private meeting with Sharad Pawar before taking any major decision. Uddhav will also talk to Congress party leader Balasaheb Thorat and clarify the situation. Uddhav will resign from the post of Chief Minister, may be decided after meeting Sharad Pawar, Congress sources are saying that the government has come to a minority and Congress is aware of this.
After the rebellion of Eknath Shinde and 40 MLAs, the situation in Maharashtra is changing rapidly. Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had indicated to dissolve the Maharashtra Assembly amid the current political situation in the state. He tweeted that the assembly is being dissolved due to the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra.
