Traumatic accident: Car burns after hitting barricades, 3 MBBS students burnt alive
The era of high-speed riots has started once again in Sonipat district of Haryana. A speeding car collided with a stone barricade late last night on the Meerut-Jhajjar National Highway passing through Sonipat. After the collision, I-20 caught fire. Three MBBS students in the car were burnt alive, while three others were admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
According to the information received, all the people in the car had left for Haridwar from Rohtak. The deceased have been identified as Pulkit Narnaul, Sandesh Rewari and Rohit Sector 57 Gurugram. All PGI Rohtak MBBS students are mentioned. In the night, all the six companions left for Haridwar from Rohtak.
Disclosing this here today, station in-charge Devendra Kumar said that a car collided with a stone on the Jhajjar-Meerut highway late last night. The car caught fire after hitting the stones. Three students died on the spot due to the fire and three others were admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Police said the family members of the car owners have been informed about the incident and action will be taken based on their complaint.
