Haridwar, 21 June (H.S.). Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Vinay Shankar Pandey, Tehsil Day was organized in Tehsil Roorkee on Tuesday, in which the problems and grievances of the general public were resolved.

In Tehsil Diwas, a total of 42 applications were received regarding various types of complaints, out of which five were disposed of on the spot and instructions were given to dispose the remaining applications to the concerned departments and officers as per the time bound limit.

On this occasion, the District Magistrate also took information from the officials about the disposal of public grievances received during the last Tehsil Day. Officials said that after resolving more than 20 complaints of the previous Tehsil Day, the concerned complainants have also been informed. The District Magistrate directed the officers that the disposal of the grievances of the common man is the top priority of the government. Therefore, if there is any problem of the public, make sure to solve it by taking personal interest.

The complaints received in Tehsil Day today include pension case, measurement of land, making ration card, getting ration, removing encroachment, cleaning the drain, removing water logging, electricity connection, settling land disputes, metering of check road, land It was related to taking possession etc.

In Tehsil Day, Additional District Magistrate PL Shah, Joint Magistrate Anshul Singh, SP Dehat Mendra Doval, Sports Officer RS ​​Dhyani, Food Supply Officer KK Aggarwal along with officials of related departments like Irrigation, Power, Public Works etc. were present.
