People allege that Mukesh’s complaint was made by a youth named Jati, on whom a case was registered by the police in a false case on the caste itself. On Wednesday evening, the younger brother of the caste had gone to get goods from a shop in the village, when he got into an argument with Mukesh’s younger brother. The matter reached till abusive and assault. During this, a large number of people from both the sides gathered on the spot. Soon, sticks started running between the two sides, in which 10 people from both the sides were injured.

The relatives took the injured to Roorkee Civil Hospital. Also, the information about the quarrel was given to the police. The police reached the spot and pacified the people who were fighting. The injured include 13-year-old Nitil, 23-year-old Pankit, 21-year-old Sagar, 20-year-old Sonit, 62-year-old Kala, 65-year-old Mahavir, 37-year-old Surendra, 50-year-old Dharmendra, 27-year-old Satyavan, 45-year-old Babli and 35-year-old Sureso.

Ganga Nahar police station in-charge Aishwarya Pal says that from time to time a person named Mukesh used to inform the police about the incidents happening in the area. For which he has been beaten up. The police have not got the complaint yet. Further action will be taken on receipt of Tahrir.
