According to the report of the department, till Friday, paddy crop was sown in 399.03 lakh hectare in all the states of the country, while paddy has been sown or sown in 401.56 lakh hectare area.

Area under 23.44 lakh hectare less than last year

According to a report by the Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, the paddy cultivation in the country in this Kharif season is 23.44 lakh hectare less than last year. According to the new weekly report of the department, the total area under paddy within the country was 425 lakh hectare last year, while the area under paddy so far this Kharif season within the country is 401.56 lakh hectare, thus the area under paddy is 23.44 lakh hectare. Slight improvement in the area of ​​pulses
