Sindhudurg Crime: Six accused involved in reverse smuggling of Devmash arrested

Sindhudurg: Six accused of whale vomit smuggling have been arrested in Deogarh taluk of Sindhudurg district. 370 grams of vomit weighing 12 kg has been recovered from them and its value in the international market is 22 crore 37 lakh rupees.

The police had received secret information about the smuggling of Devmasa or whale fish. Based on this information, police laid a trap and took six accused into custody. The Sindhudurg local crime investigation department has taken this action, which includes four men and two women. A case has been registered against these accused under sections 39, 42, 43, 44, 48, 51. During the action, the police have recovered two cars worth Rs 22 crore from the accused.
