Amidst the political crisis in Maharashtra, a big news has come to the fore. They are being taken to Assam’s capital Guwahati at Le Meridien Hotel in Surat, where rebel Shiv Sena leader and minister in Maharashtra government Eknath Shinde and his supporting MLAs are staying. They will be airlifted from here at midnight. They will be taken after around 12:30. Three chartered aircraft have reached Surat airport to pick up the MLAs from here. Preparations are underway to take the MLAs to Guwahati by SpiceJet’s three chartered planes.

Due to the neighboring state of Gujarat being Maharashtra, there has been a stir among the MLAs staying there. MLA Kailash Patil has returned to Mumbai. In such a situation, preparations are being made to take these MLAs away from Maharashtra. A total of 65 people are being told with the rebel MLAs and their PAs. 3 buses have also reached Le Meridien Hotel. There are 3 chartered planes at the airport. These MLAs will be taken to Surat Airport amidst tight security and all these MLAs will fly from there.

A total of 65 people, including 35 Shiv Sena MLAs and their OSC and officials, will be taken to the airport by bus. All of them will be brought from the hotel to Surat airport by 3 buses. All the people will be brought on the bus as they have more luggage. It is learned that arrangements have been made to take these buses from the back lane of Surat airport. Surat Police Commissioner has also visited the airport.

At the same time, it is being said that Shiv Sena is talking about taking action against the MLAs who support Eknath Shinde. Chandrakant Patil has said that anything is possible in politics. We are just waiting and monitoring the situation. Neither Eknath Shinde nor the BJP has sent a proposal to form the government. No special session has been called for the no-confidence motion so far. The session of the Vidhan Sabha will begin from July 18.
