Seven Day Yoga Training Camp of All India Grahak Panchayat

The ongoing seven-day yoga training camp at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Madhav Branch Government Inter College Khudbuda under the joint aegis of All India Grahak Panchayat and DD College came to an end. The seventh day yoga training camp was inaugurated jointly by DD College Yog Department Head Deepika Joshi, Uttarakhand Ayurved University Associate Professor Dr. Rajiv Kurele, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Madhav Branch Ramnagar, Dehradun Branch Caravan Virendra Goyal and Yogacharya Swami Sunil Shastri on Sunday. In the program, the students presented the knowledge acquired in yoga and other fields in a very beautiful manner in seven days. The performance of the children was commendable. All the students were honored with certificates by the chief guest Dr. Rajiv Kurele, a well-known Ayurveda expert and health and lifestyle guru, Associate Professor, Uttarakhand Ayurved University.

Under the guidance of Yogacharya Dr. Deepika Joshi, children were made aware of the initial asanas and pranayama of yoga. Children performed amazingly on Surya Namaskar, Tadasana, Bhastrika Pranayama, Humor Asana, Kapal Bhati, Tali Vadan, Anulom-Vilom etc. Pranayama.

Chief guest Dr. Rajeev Kurele, in his presidential address, gave information about the usefulness of yoga for children and the benefits of yoga. He said that in today’s run-of-the-mill environment, it has become necessary for the common man to connect with yoga and nature for healthy, happy life and to increase immunity. Everyone along with children should adopt yoga in their daily routine for a stress-free life.

He said that Yoga is an ancient art as well as a science which was promoted by Maharishi Patanjali in the form of Ashtanga Yoga through Yoga Darshana. It originated in India about 5 thousand years ago. The word “Yoga” is derived from the Sanskrit root “Yuj”. which means to join. Yoga is a science that unifies body, mind and spirit. He also called upon the parents to practice yoga and provide an ideal environment at home to the children.

DD College Associate Professor Dr. Deepika Joshi said that we should adopt yoga in our daily life to stay mentally and physically healthy.

Yogacharya Swami Sunil Shastri said that yoga, pranayama and regular practice of meditation can help in curing various ailments like diabetes, blood pressure, digestive disorders, stress, mental disorders, depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, asthma, varicose veins and heart conditions. Is.
