Rahul Gandhi’s attack on Agneepath project, PM has to listen to youth
The Agneepath scheme of the central government is in full swing across the country. The plan is being opposed in many states including Delhi, Haryana, Bengal and Telangana. Politics has heated up with this plan. Attacking the Center, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, “Just as the Agriculture Act was to be withdrawn, the Agneepath project should also be withdrawn.”
Taking to Twitter, Rahul Gandhi said, “For 8 consecutive years, the BJP government has insulted the values of ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’. We have to follow the youth of the country and take back ‘Agneepath’. ,
Congress will oppose the plan at Jantar Mantar
In the tweet, Rahul accused the government of insulting soldiers and farmers. Earlier, the Congress had said that the party will hold a protest against the Agneepath project at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar tomorrow. The performance of Congress will be on a large scale in which many big leaders and MPs can be involved.
Priyanka Gandhi also tweeted, “I wrote a letter to the Defense Minister on March 29, 2022 requesting him to look into the demands of the youth and find an immediate solution. But, the government did so. The voice of the youth was ignored.”
Amidst the uproar, the Home Ministry’s big decision
Amidst this ongoing uproar across the country, a tweet has been made by the Union Home Ministry. It said that 10 percent reservation will be given to firefighters who complete 4 years of recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles. The Home Ministry said that it has decided to give 10 percent reserve to firefighters in these paramilitary forces.
