New Delhi: At least 27 people were killed when a fire broke out in a building near Delhi’s Mundka metro station on Friday evening. About 50 to 60 people have been rescued by fire brigade personnel. President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have expressed grief over the accident. The President tweeted, “Saddened by the massive fire that broke out in a building near Mundka Metro Station in Delhi. My condolences to the bereaved families. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
