Pankaja Munde : I will not insist on renaming Ahmednagar as Ashti Railway after Gopinath Munde! – Explained by Pankaja Munde
The much awaited Ahmednagar to Ashti Railway has been inaugurated today and ‘DEMU Railway’ service has been started on this route. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated this railway line by joining the online program. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve, BJP leader Pankaja Munde, MP Pritam Munde, Balasaheb Vikhe Patil etc. were present in the program.
In this program organized in Beed district, BJP leader Pankaja Munde, speaking at the inauguration, welcomed all the dignitaries and welcomed all the dignitaries. Pankaja Munde said that this railway in Beed district was the dream of Gopinath Munde. Beed’s railway project has never received such an amount since the 70s after Munde Saheb became an MP. Even when there was a Congress government at the Centre, Munde had pulled out funds for the Beed Railway project.
Further in his speech, he said, after the departure of Gopinath Munde, Devendra Fadnavis made arrangements to give funds immediately. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also had a lot of respect for this rail project because after the death of Munde Saheb, he had promised the people that ‘I will build a railway in Beed district and fulfill Munde’s dream’. Pankaja said that although this railway line is not for the benefit of the railways, but we are very thankful to the Prime Minister for standing firmly behind us.
Pankaja Munde said during the speech that people want to name this new railway as Munde Saheb. But Pankaja made it clear that I would never take such a stubbornness. She said, “Gopinath Munde does not like to give his name to any organization or any project, so I will not insist on naming this railway project after him.”
