NUJ (I) Haridwar election: Rahul Verma President, Sandeep Rawat became General Secretary
Haridwar, May 13 (H.S.). In the annual election of the Haridwar unit of the journalist organization National Union of Journalists India (NUJ, I), Uttarakhand’s Uttarakhand in-charge Rahul Verma was elected president and Hindustan Times district in-charge Sandeep Rawat was elected general secretary.
As the chief convener of the district unit, senior journalist and guide of the organization, PS Chauhan, conducted the biennial elections of the organization in the Press Club auditorium on Friday. He thanked all the members of the organization for electing the President and the General Secretary unanimously. In the election meeting, state unit’s patron Sunil Dutt Pandey, National Vice President of the organization Ram Chandra Kanojia, former President of Press Club Adesh Tyagi, outgoing President of Press Club Rajendra Nath Goswami, former General Secretary Dharmendra Chaudhary, former President of the organization and former Press Club General Secretary Amit Sharma, former President of the organization Jaipal Singh, Press Club’s Treasury Secretary Sunil Pal etc. journalists were present in large numbers.
