Maharashtra Political Crisis: Uddhav arrived in Gujarat to persuade disgruntled MLAs sent as messengers, they also rebelled, reached Guwahati
The injury caused by Eknath Shinde’s action had not yet healed and Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray suffered another major setback. Amidst the political turmoil, the so-called Ravindra Phatak, close to Uddhav, has also joined the rebel faction. It is noteworthy that Uddhav Thackeray had sent the gate to Surat so that the rebel MLAs present there could be persuaded and brought back. But after returning from Gujarat, Phatak himself rebelled and went to Guwahati and Shinde joined the group. However, Phatak is not counted among the rebel MLAs, because he is the leader of the Legislative Council, that is, he is not an MLA but an MLC.
Thackeray seems to be weakening, leaving his people behind. He now has only 13 MLAs left in the assembly. As per current updates, 42 MLAs are present along with Eknath Shinde. Shortly before, Ravindra Phatak reached the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati along with Agriculture Minister Dada Bhuse and former Forest Minister Sanjay Rathore.
This is how Ravindra Phatke played a double role
Let us inform that on behalf of the Eknath Shinde group, Sanjay Rathore had reached the Chief Minister’s Varsha bungalow from Surat with a three-point proposal. In this, under the three-point proposal sent by Eknath Shinde to Uddhav Thackeray, the first condition to suppress militancy was that Uddhav Thackeray should form the government with the BJP. The second condition was to accept Devendra Fadnavis as the Chief Minister. As a third condition, Eknath Shinde put a condition to make himself Deputy CM.
After this, Shiv Sena sent Uddhav Thackeray’s close aides Milind Narvekar and Ravindra Phatak as messengers from Varsha Bungalow. Here Eknath Shinde gave a little twist by sending his proposals back to Uddhav Thackeray. This time Eknath Shinde gave up his insistence on making himself the Deputy Chief Minister. In his new two-point proposal, the first condition was that Uddhav Thackeray should come out of the front of Maha Vikas and the second condition was that the Shiv Sena should form the government with the BJP.

That is, Eknath Shinde’s messenger Sanjay Rathore raised CM Uddhav Thackeray. Now the same emissary of Uddhav Thackeray went from Mumbai to Surat with Ravindra Phatak Eknath Shinde’s special envoy Sanjay Rathore, returned from Surat to Mumbai and then reached Guwahati from Mumbai. Like more than 40 other legislators, he rebelled.
