Janjgir: The body of the employee found hanging at a height of 50 feet inside the power plant
Korba/Janjgir, August 5 (H.S.). The body of an employee was found at a height of 50 feet inside a power plant in Dabhra police station area of Janjgir-Champa district. He was missing since August 3. On Thursday, his family members staged a sit-in outside the gate as he could not be traced. Now his body is finally found hanging inside the plant itself.
There is RKM power plant at Uchpinda in Dabhra. Here Gajendra Manhar (28), a resident of Malkharoda area, used to work as a helper in the boiler department. He was working here for the last 6 years. He went on duty in the morning on August 3 as usual. But did not return home. Since then the search was on for him, till late in the evening nothing was found of him.
The next day, on August 04, the family members went on a dharna outside the gate. He said that the youth went missing from the plant itself and no one was found here. Then all day the family members were sitting outside the gate. Force was also deployed. The matter was also reported to the police. After which the police searched for him inside the plant as well.
After this, his body was found 50 feet above the lift under construction in the boiler area of the plant late in the evening. Later the body was sent for post-mortem. The body was also cremated after the post-mortem on Friday.
Here, after the death of Gajendra, the management has also given compensation to his family members. An immediate cash assistance of Rs 11 lakh has been given to the family members. Apart from this, it has been announced to give a job to a member of the family. Police say that the real cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes. At present the investigation is going on in the matter.
