What does TRAI’s rule say?
According to the rules of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), a person can buy a maximum of 9 SIMs for himself.
In case of non-verification, the SIM in your name will be canceled immediately.
– If a person has more than 9 SIMs in his name then outgoing calls will be blocked in 30 days and incoming calls in 45 days and the entire SIM will be deactivated in 60 days.
How to check how many sims are in your name?
First of all go to the official site of DoT tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in.
Enter your mobile number on the home screen.
Enter the OTP received on the mobile and click on Validated.
All the SIM numbers taken from your Aadhar card will be displayed on the screen.
