Prime Minister Narendra mother of Modi Hiraba Modi’s Today is 100th birthday. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to meet him at his house. The Prime Minister has written an article outlining his mother’s personality in a blog on the occasion of his mother’s birthday. In which he has said that “Mother, not only our body, our mind, our personality also builds our self-confidence. He spends all his time doing all this for his children. Forget yourself too. Today I want to share with you my happiness, my good fortune. My mom, Hiraba is entering her SOMA year today, June 18. That is, 2022 is the year when my mother’s birth centenary begins and this year is my father’s centenary year.”
On the occasion of mother’s birthday, Prime Minister Modi has also revealed many secrets related to his mother’s life. Here are some selected excerpts from an article written by Mata Hiraba in her blog. The Prime Minister has highlighted throughout his blog that his mother Hiraba is a cleanliness lover.
Hiraba decorated the house with small things
The Prime Minister mentioned in the blog that his mother was very fond of decorating and beautifying the house. He worked all day to make the house beautiful and clean. He was rubbing the soil inside the house with cow dung. In a windowless house, the mother was cooking on gram. The smoke could not escape, so the interior walls of the house turned black very quickly. Within a few weeks, Mom started painting those walls again. Due to which the house became new again. Mother used to decorate them by making beautiful clay bowls. Mom was also good at recycling old things.
I remember him in another unique way. He would often soak old papers, making a gum-like paste of tamarind seeds with them. Then with the help of this paste, make beautiful pictures by sticking pieces of glass on the walls. She used to decorate the door of the house by bringing some items from the market.
“Even today he carries a small handkerchief in his sari”
I can still see how well they took care of the cleanliness. Whenever I go from Delhi to Gandhinagar, I go to meet him, he definitely feeds me sweets with his own hands. And as a mother wipes her mouth after feeding a small child, so my mother wipes her mouth with a handkerchief after feeding me something. She always carries a handkerchief or a small towel in her saree.
“Respect for the Cleaner”
There are so many stories of mother’s love for cleanliness that it will take a long time to write. There has been another special thing in a mother. Mother has a lot of respect for the sweeper. I remember the drain near our house in Vadnagar, when someone came to clean it, the mother would not let him drink tea. Later, the watchmen also realized that if they had tea after work, they would meet in our house.
