High Court said: Tell how many people got the job of teacher illegally, qualified people will have to give jobs
Kolkata, 21st September (H.S.). The Kolkata High Court has given an important order on Wednesday regarding teacher appointment corruption in West Bengal. A single bench of Justice Abhijit Ganguly has said that the list of all those who have been illegally appointed as teachers in class IX and X has to be submitted to the High Court. He also said that the eligible people who had passed the examination but are agitating outside on the streets waiting for jobs, will have to be given jobs immediately. He said that since April, the matter related to corruption in this job is being heard but till date no one has got the job.
This is not right. He has ordered the School Service Commission (SSC) and the CBI to look into the matter seriously. He said that the complete list would have to be submitted to the High Court by September 28. He said that as the CBI is probing the matter, it will surely know how many people have been illegally appointed and list them. SSC has a complete list, submit that list to SSC and those who have been appointed illegally, those who have passed the exam should be given jobs.
