Helicopter crashes at Chhattisgarh’s Raipur airport, two pilots killed
Raipur: A helicopter has crashed at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. According to ANI, two pilots died in the accident.
According to the information received, Pilot AP Srivastava and Captain Gopal Krishna Panda were aboard the helicopter. They were returning to land during the exercise when a helicopter caught fire. The helicopter is said to be of the state government. According to the information received, the state government helicopter crashed at Raipur airport at around 9.30 pm. Gopal Krishna Panda and AP Srivastava died in the accident.
The accident happened at Raipur airport at 9:10 pm. The two pilots of the helicopter, Captain Gopal Krishna Panda and Captain AP Srivastava, were practicing flying. This is when the tragedy happened. Rescuers pulled both of them out of the rubble and took them to the hospital. But both the pilots who were seriously injured were declared brought dead at the hospital. Chief Minister Bhupesh Badhel has expressed grief over the accident.
